A priest from Wrocław’s Church of St. Michael the Archangel has told churchgoers that the Coronavirus is divine punishment for homosexuality and abortion. The priest allegedly made the comments during a mass last Sunday evening. A couple of those who were present have since informed the media about what happened.

During the sermon, the priest argued very strongly that anti-bacterial masks and gels would not help us in the fight against coronavirus, because only prayer can protect people. He explained that the epidemic is a divine punishment for us living in sin: for homosexuality, for couples who live together without marriage and for those who “murder unborn children”.
